Play Time
The past few days we have been busy playing! The weather has been gorgeous so I took Landon to the park. He absolutely loved the swings (baby swing that is)! He has also been busy hanging out in his exersaucer. He is doing great holding his head up so we got it out over the weekend and he has loved it! Landon is at such a fun age and is really beginning to interact with us! I just love him so much!

God Bless Landon
Yesterday my sweet boy was welcomed into the Catholic faith. We couldn't of asked for a better day! A big thanks to my sister, Marcia, and brother-in-law, Mike, for being Landon's Godparents. Here are a few pictures from Landon's baptism!

The Time has Come
That time is almost here! The day I've been dreading! On Thursday I have to return to work. I don't dread my job because I love my job. I really do! I enjoy teaching and watching my students grow and learn. I dread leaving my sweet boy! I've been with him everyday for the past 14 weeks and I don't know how I will do without him with me. I'm not worried about him... He'll be in great hands and he probably won't even realize I'm not around. I know my heart will hurt though! I have it pretty good... I only return for one and a half days and then I'm on spring break! Not too shabby! So this week will just be getting my feet wet and Landon will be home with daddy because he's on spring break this week. I know it won't be easy but I can do it! I'm so envious of all you stay at home moms! The worst part will be saying goodbye to this sweet face everyday...

3 Months!
How is this possible? How is my sweet baby boy ALREADY 3 months old? I feel like I blinked and suddenly it was March. Everyday I marvel in how much Landon changes and grows. He is developing quite the personality and he brings so much joy to our lives. He has the sweetest little smile and makes the most adorable cooing sounds. Oh, how I love him!
Here are some thingsI want to remember about his third month:
- He is wearing size 0-3 month clothes and is in size 1 diapers.
- He eats every 3 hours and it's like clock work.. so funny!
-He loves to lay under his play gym and swat at the little animals. He likes to talk to them as he lays there. So funny!
-He is sleeping 7 - 9 hours at night, wakes up to eat and then goes back down for another 2 - 3 hours.
-He loves bath time! Usually, daddy gives him his bath and he thinks that is pretty cool! So does daddy!
-He takes at least 1 nap in his crib everyday and usually one in his swing. And if we ever get in the car it's lights out! He snoozes as we drive!
-Mommy has been so lucky to be at home with him for these first 3 months. That will soon end... that's a whole other post :(
-He loves to kick his legs and he tries to move. At night he must scoot a lot because he always ends up on the otherside of the crib than wat we put him on and often he has done 180 degree turn. We'r in trouble when this kid starts crawling!
-He's able to grasp objects very well. His favorite is his ball and anyone's finger.
-He enjoys his bumbo seat. His head control is pretty good and he can sit in the bumbo for 5 - 10 minutes at a time.
-He still takes a pacifier but has recently found his fist. :)
We just love this little man so much and are so honored to be his parents! What a blessing!

She is With Us
If you can remember back to Landon's newborn pictures then you can remember that we started to incorporate pink balloons in our family pictures to symbolize our sweet Paige. Two months ago on January 1st (Paige's birthday) we had Paige-a-Palooza. Because it was a celebration we got balloons, pink balloons to be exact. We did a balloon release and sent most of the balloons to heaven for Paige, but I kept two for Landon's room so that his big sister would be with him always! I anticipated vthe balloons to last a few days. At least through her angelvarsary on January 4th. The balloons were still going strong on the 4th and they continued to last and last and last. Well folks, Paige is still with us...these balloons are still flying high 2 MONTHS LATER! They have not shrunk, they're not sagging, they are standing strong. Just like my sweet girl! She has been so strong for our family this year and she has stood by us in some very difficult times! To many these balloons may just look like two ordinary balloons but to me these balloons not only symbolize my daughters presence, but they symbolize her love for us! Her love is strong, her love is always present, her love is perfect!
Paige is with us!
