I just love watching Pat with Landon. It's enough to make my heart melt. It's not only the love Pat has for his little boy, but it's also the love Landon has for his daddy. When Pat walks into the room Landon's eyes just glow! It's so sweet! We've had a very relaxing weekend around the house. Here are a few pics of Landon and his dad! The first picture cracks me up because it looks like they are having a very serious discussion. :). The other two pictures are of Pat and Landon watching the NBA Slam Dunk contest. I'm sure the two of them will spend many weekends watching sporting events!

Your 13 Month Old
"Your 13 month old" is the title of the e-mail I just deleted. Once a month I receive an e-mail explaining what my (insert Paige's age) month old should be doing. I've tried replying and asked to be removed from this e-mail list. Apparently they did not get it. I continue to receive this monthly stab in the heart. It hurts! There is not a day that goes by that I don't think about Paige. I wonder what she would be like. What she would be doing. What her smile would look like. Sadly I won't know until the day I join her in heaven.
These e-mails hurt, but now they remind me of so much more. They have a whole new meaning. They now remind me to be thankful. Thankful for my sweet baby boy. It's such a "twisted" thought but I can't help but to think that if we had not lost Paige we would of never of had Landon. This very thought makes me cringe. I can't imagine life without Landon and to be honest I don't want to. However, I can't imagine my life without our Paige and the sweet memories we have of her. It's a tough thing to think about. I just know that we are on God's time and Landon was part of His plan.
I know Landon has so much if his big sister in him!

Mr. and Mrs. Toebben
This weekend Pat and I had the honor of being a part of our good friends, Ben and Tabitha's, wedding. The entire weekend was so much fun and we had an absolute blast with all our friends! Congratulations Ben and Tabitha! We love you both!
A huge thanks to Grandma (my mom) and Mimi (Pats mom) for taking care of Landon during all the wedding festivities! This was the first time leaving our little man and I think it was harder on Pat and I than Landon:)
Here is a picture of Pat and I and one of a few of the girls. Can you believe I didn't get a picture of the bride and groom? :(

Busy Weekend and Doctor Visit
We've been busy! The past few days have been filled with lots of fun times of visiting with friends and family. Uncle Eddie came into town last Tuesday and we've been on the go ever since. On Wednesday we met up with much of our family at St. Raymond's downtown for a yummy Lebanese lunch. Here is Landon all ready for lunch.
On Thursday we had a visit from our Parents as Teachers lady in the morning. Landon has hit all of his 2 month milestones and working towards those 3 month milestones. After PAT we headed down to south county to hang out with cousins Cole and Kaitlyn for a little while. Here is a picture of Landon and Cole while Kate was taking her nap.
Thursday night we went over to my friend Colleen's house to visit with many of my sorority sisters from college. Many of us have had children in the past few years. It was so fun to get all the kids together. I don't get to see these girls as often as I would like... I hope our get togethers start happening more often! Here is a picture of all the kids (a few of our little friends were missing and there are a few more on the way).
Friday we headed back down to south county for a visit with family. Saturday was a big day for Landon's cousins and buddies, Nick and Gabe. They were baptized Saturday evening. Here is a picture of Landon in his finest clothes for his cousins baptism and party.
Then on Sunday was Grandma's birthday. So we headed to Uncle Evan's and Aunt Maria's for a birthday celebration. Uncle Eddie felt brave and held all three of his newest nephews.... too cute! Look how gigantic Landon looks next to his baby cousins (they are 6 weeks younger).
We also took a few family pictures, but I didn't have my camera. I'll post those once I get them from my sister (hint, hint Maria please send them to me). :)
Today, Landon had his 2 month check-up at the pediatrician. Poor little man had to get two shots and one vaccine in liquid form. He was a real trooper and just cried for a quick second. Broke my heart! I think I had more tears than Landon. Here is a picture of my sweet boy all bundled up to head to the doctors office.

Height: 23 inches (65th percentile)
Weight: 11 pounds (40th percentile)
Our little man is getting so big! Just more for us to love!

2 Months!
I can't believe that today my baby boy is 2 months old! How is that possible? I can't even begin to describe the love and joy Landon has brought into our lives. Pat and I love him more than words can say and can't imagine our life without him.
In his second month of life Landon has hit many milestones. Our favorite is all of his sweet smiles! These just
melt our hearts. He is becoming a much better sleeper almost sleeping 7 hours straight at night (with the exception of last night). He is a super eater and has the cute little rolls to prove it. Landon is very alert and is beginning to focus on his surroundings. He's a bit nosy! :). Overall, the past two months have been magical and we look forward to many months to come!
Landon goes for his 2 month check up on Monday. I will update his stats then.
Here is a photo shoot from this morning. He started off enjoying himself, then started getting a little annoyed with mom and we ended with a full out tantrum! :)

Somebody Pinch Me
Somebody pinch me.... the very thought that runs through my mind about a trillion times a day. I can't look at my sweet boy and not help but to think that this is all a wonderful dream. A year ago I felt as though I was living a nightmare and now a beautiful dream. Every night I sit in the nursery and rock Landon before he goes to bed. I never get tired of staring at his innocent face and just think about how very blessed I am. Yes, I did live a nightmare last year. Yes, I miss my daughter more than words could ever say. Yes, my heart will be broken forever. But.. yes, my hope has been restored. Yes, I am now a mommy with a baby in my arms. Yes, I have living proof that God is good. Somebody pinch me!
Happy Sunday!

Who Would of Thought?
Who would of thought that in late January/ early February we would have such gorgeous weather? Who would of thought that in mid-winter I would be able to take my 7 week old outside and take walks? This weather is seriously amazing! I'm loving it! Where did it come from? Call me crazy, but I think I have a pretty good hunch as to who is behind this mild winter. You better believe it...my sweet baby girl! Paige knows how stir crazy her mom can get and she knows I would go insane staying inside all day so she sent us these warm temps and sunshine. Landon and I have really enjoyed being outside the past few days. (well Landon may have slept through our walks. See below) Please warm temperatures don't go away!
