Very early this morning my sister, Marcia, and her husband, Mike, welcomed their second son into this world! Anderson was born at 2:38 this morning weighing 7 lbs. and measuring 20 inches long. Landon and I went to meet his new buddy tonight! He is just as sweet as sweet can be! We love you so much Anderson! Landon really is excited about his new buddy even though his picture with him doesn't exactly show it! :).
PS-- When did my baby boy get so big? He looks HUGE compared to his little cousin.

Deflated & Dad update
I'm so very sad to post that Paige's balloons are well on their way to being deflated! It makes my heart so sad. I knew that they would not last forever, but secretly I wanted them to. I just felt like Paige was in the room. She is with me every night when I rock her baby brother to sleep. She's a part of our nightly ritual. And now the balloons are making their way south. I have not thrown them out. I probably won't. I'll most likely keep them with all of Paige's things in her trunk. They were her birthday balloons and so we won't throw them away. In my heart I know my baby girl is a part of my every step. She's always with me. She always will be. Those balloons just symbolized her presence and although they soon will be placed with the rest of her belongings I know she will still listen to Landon's bed time stories and songs and be there when I tuck her brother in each night. Plus, you have to admit 3 months and 17 days is an awful long time for balloons to last!
It's been awhile since I have posted about my dad. I believe the last thing I wrote about was dad being in remission from his lymphoma! At the beginning of this month he went for his 3 month CAT scan and the lymphoma is still gone! Praise Jesus! Dad will continue to go for a scan every 3 months. Although dad is in remission with the lymphoma battle I'm sad to say his fight is not over yet. Dad was diagnosed with kidney cancer in February. :( Ugh! Dad will have surgery in late May to have this tumor removed. The doctors seem optimistic that surgery will be able to take care of the entire tumor. Dad is staying positive and just so happy he does not have to have more chemotherapy. This is dad's 4th type of cancer and there is not a doubt in my mind that he will kick this kidney cancer in the butt and beat it just like he beat the prostate cancer, melanoma and lymphoma! I thank God each day for a strong dad who can fight these battles with such poise and faith! Please continue praying for my dad, prayers have got him this far and they will carry him the rest of the way!

4 Month Stats
Landon had his 4 month check up this afternoon. The doctor said he is growing well and right on track developmentally. Landon now weighs 13 pounds and is 25 inches long. That puts him in the 15% for weight and 60% for height. He also got a few shots, but was such a brave little boy! I can't believe how big our little man is getting!

4 Months
Today our sweet boy is 4 months old! Holy moly! This has truly been the best four months of our lives and we just love this little man more and more everyday! Landon is getting so big and is doing more and more everyday! We go for his 4 month checkup on Wednesday so I will update his stats then. For now here is some random things I want to always remember about this month in Landon's life.
Landon is....
... Wearing size 2 diapers
... Wearing size 3 months clothes, but just made the switch to 3-6 month clothes this weekend. They are a bit big but will fit good soon!
... Sleeping through the night. At least 9 - 10 hours, eats and then sleeps for a few more hours!
... Smiles and giggles a lot!
... Loves to make noises at mommy and daddy and if you sing to him, he sings back :)
... Getting close to rolling over, but hasn't made it all the way yet.
... Loves, loves, loves his exersaucer!
... Still loves bath time!
... Has found his hands and they are always in his mouth! (hence the chapped skin around his mouth)
I'm sure there is so much I'm missing!
We love you Landon Jordan!
Here are two pictures from today!

3 Month Pictures
Since our little man is getting close to 4 months, I thought I should share a few of his 3 month pictures that my good friend, Tara, took for us.
We just love him to pieces and can't believe how quickly he is growing! Not to mention the little personality that is beginning to take form.

Flying High
If you remember back a month ago I posted about Paige's balloons still being up after two months! Well, today marks 3 months that these balloons are flying high! Paige is with us! This picture was just taken this morning! Notice how the strings have inter- twined...proof that they float around and don't just stick to the wall! I love that I can feel her presence in her baby brothers room!
We love you Paige!

A visit with the Bunny
Let me apologize for my lack of blogging lately! My first week back to work was exhausting and any time not at work was spent with the two boys in my life! :). I hope I get adjusted to this new schedule soon and back to more regular posts!
Yesterday, I took Landon to see the Easter Bunny! He loved it! He sat on the big rabbits lap and had the cutest grin on his face! Too funny! I hope he always loves the Easter Bunny, but after watching many toddlers cling to their parents yesterday I have a feeling next year might not be as easy to get a picture!
Here is Landon's first visit with the furry, white guy!
